Progress, Inc. is Located in Newington, in the heart of Connecticut, convenient to major highways and Bradley International Airport. Our business concentrates on mechanical design, manufacturing and fabrication that support those efforts. Founded in 1992, the company has grown and modernized to serve an expanding client base.
Our engineers and designers design your product creating a 3D CAD model with built-in intelligence and flexibility. Using SolidWorks CAD design tools, part and assembly models will be associative and reflect the design intent crucial to your product's success. Our engineers can work as part of your engineering team or independently. These robust CAD models can be used for everything from prototyping to production.
Electronic Packaging design includes packaging of chassis, enclosures, mother and daughter board definition, including thermal design and airflow/cooling characteristics. We can assist with printed circuit layout by developing the mechanical definition of the board, connector placements, mounting hole locations and keep out areas.
