The National Geodetic Survey (NGS), an office of NOAA's National Ocean Service, manages a network of Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) that provide Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data consisting of carrier phase and code range measurements in support of three dimensional positioning, meteorology, space weather, and geophysical applications throughout the United States, its territories, and a few foreign countries.

Rocco V D'Andrea is a family run and operated engineering firm with roots in Fairfield county. They consistently produce high quality and accurate deliverables, which are typically approved with minimal scrutiny by town planning boards. I have worked with them on many projects and it is hard to come by engineers with their attention to detail and consistent quality of work.
Their prices are fair, and they always try to provide the right amount of effort for the task or project. As with any engineering consulting firm, if the project scope expands, so does the cost.

Make sure to get their price in writing before using these guys. Dishonest is the one word I'd use to describe them. They escalate their hours spent on the job resulting in extreme over-billing, which can't be disputed without an official law suit (make sure you read their contract carefully as well). Instead of addressing my false invoice they ducked my calls and emails for over 6 weeks, while my house was threatened by a potential lean due to their outstanding invoice.
There are a lot of nice, honest surveyors in the area that may take a little longer to schedule (probably because they actually have a good reputation) but I suggest using any of them instead of Rocco D'Andrea's surveying.
