For more than 40 years, Progressive Engineering Inc. (PEI) has been recognized nationally for its expertise in engineering, product testing, evaluation and inspections. PEI has been a leader in engineering services, product testing and evaluations as well as third party plan review and inspections for the factory built commercial building industry for decades. We are excited to share with you that PEI recently joined the International Code Council family of solutions.
Services
ICC PEI, LLC services customers across the United States in all phases of the construction industry. We work with both local contractors as well as nationally renowned product suppliers, manufactured/modular home builders and recreational vehicle manufacturers. In 2021, PEI joined the International Code Council family of solutions.
PEI has been performing vehicle testing since the early 80's. PEI's laboratory is now ISO 17025 accredited for many FMVSS tests and all of the Ambulance Manufacturers Division (AMD) test standards, with exception to AMD 023. We currently offer full certification to the GSA Specification KKK1822F, including the vehicle inspection.
Our approach to Listing a product follows what our approach has been to Testing products since 1979. We find an existing test standard for your specific product. We work closely with you to thoroughly understand your needs. We complete the testing as quickly as possible. We use our over 45 years of testing experience to assist you in design change or efficiency.

I needed to survey some property and work with the county. I had two contacts throughout the project. Other than a Covid delay with the surveyor, the team did a tremendous job communicating the progress, the details and layouts. Pricing was reasonable compared to another firm. This location was recenty purchased by a larger conglomeration. Hopefully the home town service and pricing remain consistent. I highly recommend their services.

I have used them on 2 occasions since 2017. Once for an elevation survey and now for a property survey. Can not say enough about the quality of their work, customer service and reasonable pricing. Stephanie & Craig are wonderful people and put all of my questions and concerns to rest! Other companies in the Elkhart, In Area should take notes from this company! 5 Stars is just not enough.
