Founded in 1991 by Patrick O'Brien to provide customers with the highest quality engineered 400Hz systems and products the aviation industry has to offer, MCM Engineering remains dedicated to these principles. Our depth of experience in 400Hz engineering and product manufacturing, as well as our multi-disciplined staff of engineers and technicians help us provide constructive, innovative solutions and solve difficult problems.

Long Life: The mean time before failure (MTBF) for a motor-generator is in excess of 100,000 hours (with a 100,000 L10h bearing life). This is four times the average MTBF of a solid state converter. Low Maintenance Cost: KATO offers a horizontal, single-shaft design, which means that there are no couplings, gears or belts to wear out.

MCM Engineering offers 28VDC Power Supply's designed for use with parked aircraft requiring 28VDC ground power. The Power Supply is used in conjunction with a 400Hz power source, transforming 400Hz, 115VAC power to 28VDC.

MCM Engineering has developed a comprehensive line of Aircraft/Ground Power Cables and accessories. This is a result of years of collaboration, between our customers and the industry standard to design a solution to increase performance while extending the life of our Aircraft/Ground Power Cables. Our connector design offers significant advantages over other ground power cables with the built in longevity of easily replaceable contacts, nose covers as well as field replaceable connectors.In return, our customers see a significant cost savings over the life cycle of their cables.
