Badger Labs has more than 50 years of experience as Wisconsin's most accurate and trusted analytical laboratory. We analyze groundwater, wastewater, drinking water, soil, sludge, food and tissue samples. Wastewater discharged from industrial and municipal operations is subject to constantly changing NPDES permitting requirements.
Badger Labs field collection and monitoring services play a vital role in the environmental industry throughout Wisconsin. Our experienced field crew is trained in proper field collection techniques for wastewater, groundwater and drinking water samples. We are passionate about helping businesses and municipalities in Wisconsin meet regulatory compliance and permitting requirements.
If you are unsure, the WDNR recommends you test your private well water at least once a year for coliform bacteria contamination and any time you notice a change in how the water looks, tastes or smells. Simply put, Badger Labs out did their competition by a long shot. Circumstances beyond our control put us well behind the power curve in terms of available time to get our well water sampled, tested, and results developed; in fact, the well water testing results became the issue that would derail the whole process of buying our dream property. I contacted many of the big name water testing companies in the Valley and they all treated me in a cookie-cutter fashion, you know, "it will take us three business days to get out to your house to sample, another five business days to get written results to you, and our price is X", blah, blah, blah; except for one -- Badger Laboratories & Engineering, Inc.
This family run business treated me like, well, nothing short of family. They listened, they understood the sense of urgency, and they worked to find a way to get us the tests that we needed, as fast as humanly possible; I'm sure it's not always possible, but the flash to bang time from call to written results was three business days. And, they certainly could have taken advantage of the old saying, "when you need it bad, you get it bad", but they didn't; their invoice ended up being much less than all the others.
I've learned in life that people generally fall into two camps, which are "the science of no" or "the art of the possible". No is science, because it's binary: on/off, yes/no, 1/0; the art of the possible is looking at a requirement from a position of zero base and saying, "how can we make this work". Badger Labs is an art of the possible organization, and that only happens through good leadership and a good team.
