IEC employees have been active in our community and enjoy volunteering their time to a number of worthy causes. New IEC employee Pat Sullivan (second from left) recently participated in the Sacramento Run to Feed the Hungry road race and fundraiser. The event is a 5KM or 10KM run held in Sacramento on Thanksgiving morning with over 28,000 runners.
IEC Corporation provides energy consulting services in the areas of wind, geothermal, biomass, photovoltaic, solar thermal, hydropower, landfill gas, municipal solid waste, biodiesel, and digester gas. This includes: developing complete solicitations; performing resource assessment and feasibility studies for multiple renewable technologies; and providing design, engineering, and construction management services for both large and small projects. I Had just turned 18 out of high school when I went with a friend that wanted to look around. I ended up being forcefully enrolled. I got pressured so badly, they told me I was a bad mom for not being in college yet and they called my family to ask them to pay to sign me up because I told them I couldn't afford it. I was still a kid. Now I'm married with 2 small children and have a $15,000 student debt because of them.
As soon as I graduated they dumped out like trash no help finding a career like promised. They also gave the entire class the answers to pass the Guard card test and told us not to tell because it was our only way of graduating Wich I thought was cool at the time (Of course again 18 year old mentality) Just please guys if your still with me at this point RUN RUN AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE! & Please don't feel pressured to do something you do NOT want to do.

IEC records dept is awful. I requested a transcript as instructed online and my employer requested an education verification which is suppoed to take 72 hours. I am not sitting at home 2 weeks later not able to work because I don't have the information requested. The dept. will not answer the phone (called for a week now and all morning today) and everyone else says they can't help. This is not very good customer service.
