Sacramento Engineering Consultants was established in 1989, as a descendant of an electrical contracting and engineering firm owned by Rickert Henriksen. Originally a two-person firm, we have flourished to become a 21 person company serving the engineering needs of the Sacramento area, California and 47 other states.
Joint trench (composite) engineering - Coordination with utility companies, power, telephone, cable TV, and gas for creation of unified site plan for to ensure the most economic installation of site utilities. In addition to traditional joint trench engineering we provide full utility company high voltage design to speed the often very time consuming utility design process.
Solar engineering - In conjunction with installing contractors, we have engineered dozens of solar panel installation projects totaling tens of thousands of kilowatts of power. Working with various installing contractors, we have engineered projects for private enterprises, SMUD, Ventura County and other municipalities. Of all of our engineering efforts we are perhaps most proud of our solar services which are part of the global environmental crisis.
Site fire sprinkler design - We find with building departments increased scrutiny of fire sprinkler design, site fire sprinkler engineering is being more important to overall building design. The site fire sprinkle design by non-fire sprinkler engineers is becoming a thing of the past. With labor and material costs increasing, we have found clients requiring engineered site fire sprinkler plans as a necessity to reduce site installation costs.
