The staff, consisting of professional engineers with registrations in California, Nevada and Oregon, and a registered land surveyor, are uniquely experienced and qualified to perform analyses in hydrology, hydraulics, planning, and operations. The professional staff is supported by a variety of resources, including a library comprised of photos, government documents, primary sources and historical materials, maps and drawings developed through research and first hand experience of major water resources and flood issues, projects and events in California and other areas.

2022 marks our 57th year of providing professional engineering services. Thanks to all of you for your help over all these years. Our name has changed a few times over those years, but our mission remains the same - to provide accurate, professional service to our clients. Here's a little history of our journey.

Recognition Report

MBK Engineers has a number of community-leading experts and has worked on many projects at the forefront of water resources engineering. We always take a tremendous amount of pride in this work, and sometimes our company, staff, or projects are formally recognized for our efforts. While we don't actively solicit these accolades, we do appreciate them and recognize them here.

Hydrology and Hydraulics Report

Our workgroup conducts analyses and modeling of flood-related concerns. Our role entails supporting regulatory compliance and developing analytical products and studies to support the flood management initiatives of our clients. To accomplish this, we leverage long-term, positive working relationships with the local, State, and Federal agency personnel working in these areas.

Delta Report

We have a dedicated team of professionals to service our clients in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta region. In this work, we act as a public representative and provide consulting engineering service to 27 Sacramento/San Joaquin Delta and Suisun Marsh Reclamation Districts in regard to levee maintenance and rehabilitation.
