Services
Our skilled team offers a diverse level of expertise that allows us to work through challenges and provide a "complete package" for any given project. We embrace collaboration from within, as well as with our clients to maximize project success. Terry founded McMillen Engineering Inc. in 1977. He graduated from West Virginia University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. We believe that education - at all levels - provides growth opportunities not only personally and professionally, but also collectively as a society. This philosophy has lead us to collaborate with our partners to provide informative workshops and trainings for colleagues and professionals, as well as an Engineering Explorer Post program for high-school aged students.
As a full-service firm, McMillen Engineering, Inc. offers distinct disciplines to both public and private clients. We are capable of working in just one discipline specific to the project or we can inter-relate the necessary disciplines to provide the complete package of services based on the individual needs of the project and, ultimately, what our client desires from McMillen Engineering, Inc.
McMillen Engineering has completed several culvert replacement projects for townships & municipalities located in Southwestern Pennsylvania. These projects have provided numerous advantages for residents and the rural communities in which they are located, and have also had positive impacts from an environmental stand-point.

I would post a negative 5 star review for this company if i could. They posted one of my rental properties as uninhabitable with no advance notice and did so based on complete lies. They originally claimed to my tenant the day after posting the sign it was due to the foundation which is in good condition. Thay then told me two days later it was because they got the adress wrong but when i pointed out the address on the posting in the yard was correct they then claimed it was because the house had no heat, no water, faulty sewage and a huge hole in the roof all of which were complete lies.
I would not trust this company (with the exception of their electrical and sewage inspectors) to provide me any code enforcement or home inspection services. The 2 supervisors that showed up during these 2 home inspections seemed to be totally lost and confused and did everything they could to avoid interacting with me even when I intentionally sought out direct conversations with them regarding their issues with the house being inspected and on the rare occasion I managed to strike up a one on one conversation they would seem lost and direct me to their much more knowledgable, experienced, capable workers.
I could go on and on about the way this company has treated my familys livelihood as rental property owners for 30 plus years in german township over the past 2 months largely based on lies from evicted tenants and neighbors who are well documented criminals but its late and im tired. Deal with mcmillen engineering at your own risk.
