Since 1955, Stires Associates, P.A. has met the needs of the municipal, county and private construction industry in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Our founder started Donald H. Stires Associates in 1955 to serve his sister company Pave-Rite, Inc. with engineering services. In 1999, Mr. Stires incorporated the company and is now known as Stires Associates, P.A.
Craig Stires joined the company in 1993 and worked his way up from Project Engineer and now is positioned to lead Stires Associates into the future. Having received his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University, Mr. Stires is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and South Carolina.

We called Stires Associates as an alternative to a company that was provided to us by our real estate attorney. The estimate that we had received from the other company seemed like a boiler and we expected something tailored to our specific buying experience. We worked directly with Rich Matthews who took his time to get familiar with the property, which he did by visiting the home while on his way to another project.
After seeing exactly what he was dealing with he provided us with an estimate which was more than fair. All of our communications with Stires Associates were timely and we had our survey completed with the work product delivered to us within a week of us starting the process. I can't promise that your experiences will be like mine but you will not waste your time by making this company a candidate in your purchase decision.

Worked with this firm to build a new house for my family. Cheap quote but wait for the extras they will charge. After all the excuses and delays I will be using a different firm for the final survey. I'm sure it will cost me more money to introduce a new firm to my property but perhaps it will be done correct and on time.
