We are registered in all 50 states and offer Structural Engineering and drafting services for structures of any size up to 4 stories. No job is to large or too small. If you would like for us to discuss a project with you please fill out the contact form. If possible include electronic copies of the plan you would like to discuss. With a staff of 15, we are large enough to provide the Structural Engineering services you require. Norm Scheel has 38 years experience as a registered engineer.

His experience includes 10 years in pioneered development of metal plate connected wood trusses, 8 years in truss fabrication, and the past 15 years as the owner of his own structural engineering firm.

I have current Civil and/or Structural Engineering registrations in all 50 states. I am also a California licensed general contractor. I have a staff of 15 people with 3 registered engineers. Our engineering services include structural design and construction observation of hotels, senior living centers, light commercial buildings and mixed use, single and multi family residential, custom homes and production housing. We have also been involved in several solar panel installations and retrofit designs.

Smart, reasonably priced. Not so great if you require further services at a later date. They then tend to be slow on response time.

If you need plans or engineering for a structure, then NSSE is a really good company to use.

Norm Scheel's is a great engineer group. They know their stuff & don't just have a computer tell them what they can't do. Wonderful group, try them out if you have the chance.

House plans are unnecessarily complicated, . dimensions that end in fractions is amateurish, and the concept of builder friendly plans is lost. Not sure if they are a trade school educating new draftsman, or they don't understand the benefits of simplicity.
