The late Mr. James L. Collier, P.E., founded Collier Engineering in 1981. His steady hand and wealth of knowledge shaped the business and engineering principles of our current President, Mr. Chad A. Collier, P.E. The founding principles of the company, providing cost-effective designs and focusing on the needs of the client above anything else, continues to guide our staff of professionals today.
Collier Engineering's founding principle is to provide the expertise needed to guide our clients through the challenges of land development, site planning, structural design, and transportation projects. Our staff is committed to providing quality, professional engineering services, and have done so for 40 years.
Collier's Landscape Architects support our clients in planning, designing, building, and managing built and natural environments. We design parks, campuses, streetscapes, trails, plazas, and other spaces that help define a community or a property. At Collier Engineering, we work at multiple scales of development, creating vibrant parks and public places in both urban and rural areas.
We perform geotechnical exploration, analysis, and consulting to support project teams' decisions regarding the expected behavior at the interface of geology and structure, and the anticipated reaction and performance of earth materials under loads imposed by structure, grading, and improvements. Our team members collaborate with owners, designers, builders, and contractors from project conception through vertical construction to coordinate project geotechnical engineering demands with stakeholder expectations and the built environment.
