Aztech Engineers, Inc. is a mid-sized engineering firm founded in 1995 and located in Hartford, Connecticut which specializes in mechanical and electrical engineering consulting, design, and analysis service. The corporation was founded to create an engineering firm with a commitment to personal service, quality engineering and a philosophy of gaining system and project understanding to provide the correct solutions for each application.

Dean Azzam has over twenty-five years experience in facility design, analysis & construction and has been a licensed engineer in the state of Connecticut for over twenty years. He is also a licensed engineer in the states of New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and California as well as being certified by the National Council of Engineering Examiners and a USGBC LEED Accredited Professional. He earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.
The client's goals and objectives are clearly defined at the initial meeting with the Principal. A scope of work is then developed that is focused on meeting these goals. The project is then assigned to a Project Manager. The project and it's scope, challenges, major points are reviewed at an initial internal team meeting.
From years of designing Geothermal Heat Pump Systems Dean H. Azzam, President of Aztech Engineers Inc. kept thinking there must be a better way. Over time he developed an idea that he calls the " Convection Enhanced Geothermal Heat Pump System" - Patent No. 2010/0326623. We have just received a City of Hartford Innovation Grant to further develop this idea.
