Kister Savio & Rei did a great job surveying our lot and Trisha (in the office) was a pleasure to work with. The pricing was fair and the onsite survey team that came to our house was very knowledgeable, friendly and happy to answer our questions and explain things. We were surprised to discover that one corner of our property boundary turned out to be on the other side of a neighbor's fence.
The surveyor explained this to us and gave us options as to where we would like that survey marker placed. We opted to have that marker offset from the actual corner of our property so that the marker would be on our side of the fence. We're happy we choose Kister Savio & Rei to do our surveying and appreciate getting the map that shows all the details of our property.

This company has been in my neighborhood for years. So when it came time to get a survey done of my property it was pretty much a no brainer to go here (I did however call around and get another 2 estimates). I had a topographical and property line survey done. Two employees from KSR cane out and spent at least 3.5 hours doing my survey. They also explained about a few of the markers left on the property. I received a digital copy of my survey at completion. But being old school asked for a paper copy and was handed two. Thank Tricia for all your help.

I was having and issue over the property line with my neighbor that lives behind me so I needed a survey. I Called 3 different survey companies to get quotes and Kister Savio &Rei was the best price by far compared to the other companies. They came out a week later after signing the contract, Trish the office manager said she will get me in even though they where booked up solid on other jobs cause she understood the stress I was dealing with over the property line dispute.
The crew showed up right on time in the morning answered all my questions that I had and were very professional. As it turns out I had a lot more property behind my house then the neighbor thought so I highly recommend hire this company to get your property survey.

They have no reviews and I just had a five star experience with Trisha Rei who represents this company, so I thought a review is more than warranted. I'm in contract to purchase a house in Pinole, CA, where this company is located. I found the company on Yelp, doing a search for land surveyors. The home I'm purchasing is on 1.5 acres and the property lines are ambiguous at best.
A neighbor was repairing his fence while I was at the property for the home inspection and he said his rear property line was 150', and that he owned what I had assumed was our land. He asserted that he'd measured 150" and that his property ran beyond his rear fence line into my yard. Considering this interaction, I thought it would be a good idea to inquire about a survey, although I've never had a reason before now to get a quote for one.
Since this company is located in Pinole, I thought they would be a good place to get the first quote. Trisha was immediately very nice when she answered the phone, and even though I was inexperienced with surveying, she was patient and professional with me and answered all my questions and went above and beyond to help me out: Instead of insisting on a issuing a quote, or insisting that one of the surveyors call me back, she immediately accessed the county plot maps and confirmed that the neighbor's property line ended at 130', instead of 150'. That's a huge difference.
But wait, there's more : She then offered to email me the maps so I could have a document with clearly visible numbers! I'd previously received a plot map in the property sale disclosure packet, but the font was way too small to see the numbers clearly. But wait, there's more! I then questioned her about the best way to measure from the street and she wasn't sure, but then ended up including that information along with the map in the email!
A quote from her."I spoke to the surveyor and it's 30 ft from the center of the street and then 130 to your line." Final quote from Trisha."Hope this helps. If you decide later that you need a survey, let us know and we can give you a quote." I'm so impressed with her generosity, helpfulness, and responsiveness. That email she promised me was sent almost immediately and she voluntarily took the time to follow up on my measurement question with a surveyor to ensure I had ALL my concerns addressed.
If she's any reflection on the rest of this company's associates, I suspect this company would be a pleasure to work with on such an important matter as surveying your property. I will definitely be calling them again for an actual quote if the property line is disputed. Thanks Trisha!
