Since 2005, catena has grown due to the long-standing relationships we have with our clients that are reinforced by the strong connections within our team. The key for an efficient mass timber building is to reduce the amount of wood fiber in the structure. The firm was formed by three partners with a long standing connection with each other. Outside of Work: Damian's love of design can be seen outside of engineering in his woodworking and wood turning. He also hikes on the weekends and is an ACE Mentor on the weekdays. Outside of Work: You can find Mike negotiating with his 5 year old daughter and (slowly) learning to play the guitar. Favorite Oregon Activities: Mike is still relatively new to the area and his favorite activity is trying new restaurants and meeting new people. Outside of Work: Mike enjoys hiking, camping, playing with his dog, skiing, watching documentaries and going to breweries.
