Ost Engineering worked with the Project Developer to create architectural, structural, and civil drawings for this new single family residence. Ost Engineering worked with the Project Architect to provide structural engineering for the raising of this 1920's era house, to create a commercial space located in the new underfloor area.
I would like to thank you for the professional job you did for my legalization of my barn and the addition of a mud room to the structure. Especially the walking me through the workings of the County Planning and Permitting process. At the plan check Bob would answer any questions that would come up.

Get ready because Bob charges by the minute and he makes sure to talk a lot to get more money. I have worked with many building professionals in San Francisco and Sonoma County, and I cannot believe how he nickel and dimed us. Also, he did not even go underneath my home when we hired him to do our structural report for the sale of our house. When I called to ask him about why he did not do this, he talked for over 15 minutes telling me why he didn't have to go underneath the house.
Then I received a bill for over $260 for that 15 minutes. A 45 minute visit to my home with only visual inspection cost me $1500. I suggest you find someone else to work with.
