Tim Froelich started his company in 1983 at the height of a recession. Among his first assets were a phone book, a drafting table in the dining room, and an abiding faith. Within a year, he moved out of the house and into a 150-square-foot office and hired his first employee, Dean Azimi, not long after.
We cultivate a can-do culture that produces creative solutions to complex projects. Our inquisitive, positive attitude has made us a favorite of creative design professionals and forward-thinkers. Froelich Engineers offers two major branches of engineering services: civil and structural. Within structural engineering, we offer a variety of specialty services.
Established in 1983, we are a dynamic structural and civil engineering firm with offices in Portland, Bend, and Denver. The firm prides itself on creativity, innovation, dedication to a job well done, and overall excellence. Civil engineering is the practice of designing the interface between natural and built environments.
