ACSI was conceived by its founder as a consulting firm capable of designing a wide range of mission critical systems that support the client's program and facility requirements. To achieve the objective, it was necessary to acquire and train consultants that could study and document the client's needs, plan the unique characteristics of the building and design state-of-the-art systems. Because of this, it meant designing unique, custom systems and managing the integration, installation and final testing of these systems.

ACSI differs from most licensed electrical engineering firms in that we employ both electronics and electrical power engineers. We are well known for our work in the power, communications and controls fields as systems and software designers and installation managers. With this breadth of expertise, ACSI can readily advise the client about the optimum solution(s) and the use of the most appropriate, up-to-date system components.
ACSI provides engineering economic studies, as well as, specialized planning studies. The firm maintains an inventory of instrumentation necessary to conduct field studies to determine existing conditions and conduct proof-of-performance tests. Feasibility studies often take the form of prototypical systems or cost models and estimates. Data collection studies are used by the firm to longitudinally study system performance.
