Eclipse Controls Inc. (ECI) is a Milwaukee based enterprise established in 1995 by Stephen LaMontagne Sr., initially providing design, installation and start-up of control systems for the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District. ECI's successes with MMSD and other clients has earned us a sterling reputation for integrity and technical competence.
Since our beginning in 1995, Eclipse Controls Inc. has completed projects for small, medium, and large communities and industries. Our projects vary from simple solutions to complex, highly technical designs. We have water/wastewater, process instrumentation & control, electrical, operations and maintenance (O&M), and management experience that we are able to bring to the benefit of our clients.
Eclipse provides full I&C design services. Instrument selection and sizing, PLC and DCS engineering, control panel layout/ preparation of I&C plans and specifications. CAD generated P&lDs, detail drawings, loop drawings, wiring schematics and as built drawings. Eclipse can evaluate the existing condition of currently installed control systems.
Eclipse Controls Inc. along with Donohue & Associates implemented a new high speed Ethernet network system at Linnwood and Howard Avenue Filtration Plants to serve as the network backbone for in-plant controls. The network is separated into two parts: Process Network and Information Network. Remote sites will communicate to the Howard Plant through a wireless Ethernet network.
