Zerrecon is not affiliated with any contractor or service provider, so you can be assured that our opinion is unbiased. Zerrecon was incorporated in 1974 and grew slowly as a part-time occupation for the founder, Ed Ellingson.
In 1995 Ed was able to go full-time with Zerrecon and grow the business substantially. Ed has moved to Colorado (to be near his daughter and her family) and now assists Matt by working remotely.

When I was negotiating the purchase of two commercial properties recently, it was extremely helpful to have an expert evaluation of the condition of the buildings. I contacted Ed for a full inspection and found his comprehensive report thorough and informative. The inspection helped me plan immediate and future improvements to the structure and gave me "buyers' confidence."
You see some potential problems, like a crack in the foundation, and you wonder how serious it is. You are going to change the use of the building, the occupancy classification, and you wonder what changes will be required. You intend to modify the building, such as add an addition, and question how the existing building will need to be changed.
We also need to understand the extent of the inspection desired, so that we can tailor the inspection to your needs. As an example, if an electrical contractor is already working on a quotation for providing the electrical upgrades you need, we don't need to inspect that component and can therefore reduce the price.
