JB Autotech - A Livonia based company, established in 1998, by a qualified staff with over 40 years of automotive experience. Our company provides a wide range of services, and is not limited to one type of customer. JB Autotech is ISO 9001 certified and has worked with customers of all sizes and in many different industries, from automotive to food services.

Jeff Bucher, started JB Autotech after leaving his position at GM. His experience in the automotive field gave him a perspective that allowed him to see the big picture. Jeff started the company in his basement, sketching ideas for various customers. The projects were outsourced to moonlighting CAD designers and Jeff would complete the design reviews at the customer's site. Soon enough, Jeff had a small building with a machine shop, and a couple of designers on staff. Today, JB Autotech has a 43,000-sq.
JB Autotech excels at taking a manufacturing problem and developing a solution using known parameters. We will hold concept development meetings that will often result in additional questions that require creative solutions. On some occasions, we will produce prototype parts via our 3D printing capabilities, to prove out our solutions.
JB Autotech has a talented and knowledgeable Mechanical Design staff representing decades of experience. We employ some of the best and most capable engineers and designers in the industry providing quick turn around from concept to production. JB Autotech Mechanical Design staff utilizes state of the art PC's and drawing platforms to produce effective concepts and realize their creative solutions.
JB Autotech has a highly skilled staff of machinists. We do much of our machining in house, but if the need arises, we maintain a close relationship with local shops to complete the job properly and on time. Our machine shop is also available for outside work when our schedule allows. JB Autotech will share this phase of manufacturing with their sister company Providence Worldwide when needed.
