ECS is a CSIA Certified control system integrator dedicated to performance improvement and innovation in batch manufacturing. After more than three decades of developing batch process control systems using a total process automation approach, we have the experience and expertise it takes to build powerful, high-performing plants that produce high-quality yields.

ECS was founded to deliver Automation and Control solutions in 1977, less than 10 years after Dick Morley's invention of the PLC by Jim Stott, who installed what he believed to be the first PLC-based control system installed in a General Motors facility. Those early, limited ancestors of the control and HMI (Human-Machine-Interface) platforms we use today required innovation, structure, and discipline to implement robust solutions.

Process cell efficiency can be dramatically affected by improved scheduling. One ECS client added 20% capacity, worth millions of dollars monthly, by reducing cleaning requirements through scheduling to manage allergen contamination.
