The University of Texas at Austin - Moody Center Basketball & Events Arena - Austin, Texas. The Moody Center, the multi-purpose, state-of-the-art venue is located in the heart of downtown Austin. Moody Center is home to top concert tours and international music shows featuring the biggest artists, as well as popular sporting events including UT Austin's Women's and Men's basketball games. The seating capacity of the facility for basketball is approx. 10,300. The music arena is 530,000 GSF with 16,000-seat arena.
