In 1964 Henning Hoj started Hoj Engineering and Sales as a "one-man operation" in the heart of Salt Lake City. Though they didn't make a single sale in the first two years, his diligence and determination kept the company afloat. Today, the company operates out of 14 acres of design and development facilities, seven buildings, and over 50 service vehicles.

These guys took a standup forklift of ours which was having a number of issues and fixed it up. This wasn't any ordinary job. The forklift company which produced this forklift has been out of business for 20 years and locating the parts took some extra work on their part. They didn't just say no we can't do this, they dug in and got it fixed. we are so happy to have it back in our shop and working better than ever. Thanks for your help guys!

They lost our business for good. I called multiple times, and it took them over a week to call me back to get some repairs done to our dock. Then another two weeks passed and the repair are not done. I had to call them to get updates vs them calling me to explain why there is a delay. This has effected our business in a negative way.

Talk about making decisions easily! Kim Linford was knowledgeable, helpful, proactive, and a slew of other positive adjectives. He went above and beyond every time we needed him to and their finance? Their finance was so thorough in their explanation of terms it took all the apprehension out of the purchasing process. Every thing that they promised they were willing to put in writing. We had a fantastic experience!

Peter Hoj recently came to my Carwash in Tooele to do service on my air lift doors. Peter went out of his way to make sure the work was completed while I was shut down ( automatic wash remodel). Peter was very knowledgeable, friendly and fair. It is nice to see an owner of such a large company leading by example.
