Site Feasibility Studies
Report
Site Feasibility Studies are most commonly completed during the Due Diligence period of purchasing property to determine if the land is feasible for development. This is the first step in completing a civil site development project. The site feasibility study will identify the jurisdiction of a project, determine all agencies requiring approval of the development, determine if the governing agency or municipal district has capacity for the proposed development, water tap and impact fees, detention requirements, and the projects location in relation to the Federal Emergency Management Agency Effective Floodplain.
Drainage Analysis & Design
Report
Drainage Analysis occurs when existing drainage infrastructure serving a roadway, subdivision, or a commercial development is studied. A drainage analysis can also consist of a study of the overland offsite storm water drainage towards a proposed site to be developed using existing topography. A drainage analysis will identify and confirm drainage infrastructure deficiencies and the need to intercept or divert offsite overland draining towards a proposed site based upon current precipitation data.
City of Houston Drainage Tax Adjustment
Report
The City of Houston has implemented a drainage tax on all residences and businesses within the City of Houston. The purpose of this tax was to develop a fee based upon the amount of impervious cover for each resident and business within the City of Houston. This tax is utilized to fund drainage and street improvements throughout the Houston City Limits.
