Our standard inspection includes visual inspection of any and/or all components of the home as requested by the buyer/owner. A residential engineering inspection is intended to assist in evaluation of the overall condition of the dwelling. The inspection is based on observation of the visible and apparent condition of the structure and its components on the date of the inspection and not the determination of future conditions, even though in some cases we do indicate to the future owner potential problems.

Overall very pleased with the work Justin from Hall Engineering did. We were buying a property on a slope and our building inspector recommended we get someone to look at the crack in the foundation wall. The first company we had come out had some recommendations. The sellers wanted a second opinion and Hall Engineering Group was hired. Justin was very patient and took the time to go over the report with my wife and I over the phone at length and even agreed to clarify some gray areas in the original report, even providing recommendations to help prevent future issues in the future. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Justin in the future.

I wouldn't recommend the service of home inspecting to anyone. He went through the house and only pointed out things that were obvious. I asked him if he had went on the roof and he stated that he had. I never once seen a ladder or him go on top of the roof. Once I advised him that I had been made aware that roof damaged had been disclosed in the home disclosure and a claim had been filed on the roof then he decided to go back and get on the roof and take pictures.
I felt he had done this to try and prove his original statement was correct which wasn't. I went back weeks later to look and see where the damage had been. I also took pictures to make him aware of the damage that he had MISSED the first time. He stated that it had rained and that's why I saw damage and that could of happened over the course of weeks since we had been at the home. HE'S HORRIBLE.RUN.RUN.RUN

As we were coming to the end of building our first house. My husband and I learned about some major issues that needed to be addressed. Knowing nothing about construction, we hired Justin Hall, as our professional engineer. Justin found not only the issues we knew about, but, ones, that if not fixed, could have been detrimental. Justin also helped with involvement with the contractor's board and our attorney. Justin appeared at our trial and was very professional.
He handles himself extremely well under pressure. I am so glad that we chose Justin as our professional engineer. He has pulled through for us time and time again. Thanks Justin!
