Structural Innovations Engineering & Consulting, PC is one of the few structural engineering firms in the Charlotte area to provide structural inspection services for homeowners. Our engineers can find the cause of structural problems in your home including cracks in basement walls, foundation cracks, cracks in brick facades and foundation settlement. Upon completing our initial assessment, we will issue a report detailing our structural findings and recommending any necessary foundation repairs. In addition to structural inspections for conventional single family homes, we also provide FHA inspection and VA inspection services for manufactured homes.

I contact them to have a structural letter that may include requirement to get a city inspection approval. I was told that we would start with exterior footings and if they need more details we will provide them. City said that was not enough and it needed a whole evaluation. I have been trying to get that for the past month and they don't even return calls, emails or nothing.
They could be honest and said that they were not capable to do something like that and not charge 750$ for just to provide something that is in the code. Do not trust in their word. They will get your money and then dissappear.

Jon, thank you for all your help! I've called numerous structural engineers throughout North Carolina and they all fell short, except Jon from Structural Innovations. Jon was willing to drive from Charlotte to Halifax for a foundation observation and was able to turn around and provide the report immediately. It has been a nightmare trying to get my project off the ground and it's always nice to have someone that is willing and able to help.

We took over an existing business and have been in our building for a few years. We started to notice some cracks and decided to have it inspected. We were only a few days from closing on a home and I needed a structural inspection done on specific parts of the home. These guys acted quickly and professionally and pulled me out of a tight spot. They provided a detailed report within 1 working day and were available to answer any and all questions. You won't go wrong with this company!

My husband and I are in the process of a kitchen renovation. In order to remove a dividing wall and create an open concept design, we needed an engineer.
