Did you know. Croswell was one of the leading trading, industrial and shipping centers in the "Thumb area" at the turn of the century? Lumbering was the main occupation. The Black River was used to transport millions of feet of timber from northern Sanilac County to Croswell, and then onward to Lexington, where the lumber was loaded onto ships and sent around the Great Lakes.
Conveyor Components Company believes in being a responsible steward to the environment whenever possible, and has taken steps to help safeguard our natural resources and the environment. Conveyor Components Company recycles our used cardboard boxes, cartons, and other brown paper products. When shipping goods and products, we have almost entirely eliminated the use of styrofoam packing peanuts in favor of a more earth-friendly brown paper packing material.Wooden pallets are re-used for shipments to vendors and suppliers, as well as for shipments to our other off-site plant locations.
