Not pleased with some of their bait and switch policies. They quoted me one price over the phone, but when I received their invoice for work done, they doubled their price. I would NEVER hire them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. I will continue to expose their deceitful practices to the denizens of Ventura County and beyond. Beware so you don't get ripped off.

The engineering team at Jensen Engineering are some of the most motivated, talented professionals we have worked with to date. Jensen Design and Survey has a contract with the city of Oxnard to perform survey services for land the city acquired for a freeway. Jensen has not delivered the contracted documents. They are two years behind schedule! They severely under-estimated the cost for this work, and have not completed it. They sent bills to us for work over the approved amount and asked the city to pay tens of thousands of dollars over the contract amount.
Of course, we didn't pay. They have a reputation here at the city for under-estimating work in a contract, then coming to the city asking for more money. They say the documents will be ready "in two weeks" but the documents are never done. They did not meet the multiple extensions to complete the work and deliver the documents. The city has been patient and tried to work with them, but this is intolerable.
They promise to work on it, but I have not received the items they are obligated to finish. I would not recommend Jensen under any circumstances. The contract number is 5727-12-DS and is available for viewing on the city's website at www.oxnard.org.
