Triad Engineering was established in 1994 as a consulting firm. Over the years Triad has grown and matured into a multi-disciplined company providing engineering/design services to the oil, gas and chemical industries. The company brings together a unique group of personnel with diverse backgrounds and experience. We have the resources to provide complete project design coupled with sound management. Strong, experienced engineering staff in process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, and structural disciplines.
Services
We are prepared to undertake all phases of a project from inception to start-up. This includes but is not limited to scope definition, estimating, scheduling, detailed cost reporting, material and document control, and detailed engineering. We provide consulting engineering services in areas such as equipment performance evaluations, vessel and heat exchanger re-ratings, pipe stress analysis, equipment nozzle loading analysis, equipment fit-for-service, equipment vibration surveys, water hammer analysis and customer specifications review and development.
Our focused Project Management methods and systems provide cost and scheduling optimization. Once a project has been awarded, project participants meet face-to-face to discuss the key project goal and expectations. During this meeting the agenda includes such items as scope of work, schedule, and communication and coordination procedures.
Our Process Engineering Group provides project cost optimization from conceptual engineering through detailed design. The front-end process engineering is a critical first step in assuring that the end result will meet the customer's requirements. Heavy emphasis is placed on thoroughly understanding the scope of work, process requirements, and development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFD's) and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's). This phase of the project is crucial in that the PFD's and P&ID's form the basis of all details that will be developed on the project.
Our experience in specifying and selecting process equipment allows the Mechanical Engineering Group to efficiently implement the customer's requirements. This promotes efficient management of equipment purchases and thereby optimizes the project schedule. The proper development of equipment specifications and data sheets is crutial to the success of a project.
