Jim has been a certified scuba diver since 1983. Every year he goes on a diving trip with his family in search of fossilized shark's teeth. Charles is a fencing enthusiast. Though he has never competed himself, his glove was once borrowed for a championship match that ended up winning the tournament.

Jim, Ken and Charles all had worked for the same Philadelphia area Engineering Firm at various times in the late 90's. Charles left to pursue other opportunities as Ken stayed and continued to cultivate and develop professional relationships over the next four years. Jim and Ken both shared the same vision of earning their professional engineer licenses and starting their own engineering firms.

KSE Engineering specializes in wood frame residential construction. Collectively, our principals have been providing quality and value-added structural engineering designs and plans to a wide range of single and multi-family production home builders and architects for more than two decades. Our team has the experience to recognize potential problems and design conflicts, as well as offer reasonable solutions to meet the requirements of the client and the structural design.Design of single and multi-family residential structures, condominiums and apartment buildings.
