Building Systems design is our core service. We provide designs for a wide variety of needs from comfort to cost and energy savings to maintainability. Our systems expertise includes both traditional and complex solutions from steam, chilled water, and geothermal to solar PV, chilled beam and radiant cooling.
The dbHMS High Performance Studio uses well-grounded science to shape elegant and practical design solutions. We believe that the same process that creates compelling architecture can minimize the use of the Owner's and the World's resources. To that end we use computational tools and innovative modeling to advance design beyond convention, blending old concepts with new technologies, seamlessly integrating architectural and engineering systems to combine occupant well-being with new economies of performance.
Today's buildings are increasingly complex. Our commissioning team determines to reduce energy costs, optimize system operation, and reduce operation and maintenance headaches. With the increased priorities of on-time and on-budget project delivery combined with the expanded use of fast-tracked and design-build strategies, this quality-focused process for enhancing project delivery is more critical then ever.
