Meyers Engineering Services/Meyers Home Inspections

Mr. Meyers was a lucky find by our real estate agent to examine a crack on the foundation wall of the home we are buying. Dan completed the inspection and report in just a couple of days. He explained to us thoroughly what needed to be done to fix the problem and costs associated the repairs. Highly recommend Dan to anyone who is buying a home.

Dan was right on time if anything I was worried I was a bit late to arrive to the inspection, he was polite and professional. I honestly had no idea what this process would be like or what it involved and he took the time to explain what it all ment and his report was well written understandable and timely. I would recommend Dan and his service for any home inspection.

Let me say I hired him and LookSmart Home Inspectors and my review is based on Dan vs. LookSmart. I was not happy with Dan at all. He was late, Looksmart was there early. He didn't check half of the stuff LookSmart did, instead he was typing on his laptop and at one point when I went to find him to ask him to go to the attic with Looksmart and my Son he was in the laundry room on his cell phone.

I have to assume all the typing on the laptop was my report which by the way I didn't get until his check cleared. 4 Days later I sent a text asking for the Radon results, I still haven't received them, 3 weeks later, which I paid for and have since killed the deal. Do yourself a favor and hire a real pro. Looksmart, you will be very happy.

Dan is an excellent and thorough home inspector. He was on top of all the details and we felt very comfortable with him on our side.

I have worked with Dan on several real estate deals and he has proven to be very knowledgeable, reliable, detail-oriented, and personable. One key differentiator is that he is also a structural engineer which has been tremendously helpful for me because he identifies issues that standard inspectors would have missed, based on my experience. I have used Dan fo inspect multiple properties. He has traveled a good distance to some of my properties and each time he comes out he does a thorough inspection and spends time talking with me through the issues he finds. His background in structural is great and I find that very valuable. I can't recommend Dan enough

I have used NJ Home Inspectors Engineers half a dozen times. They are comprehensive and reliable and have offered guidance which helped preclude what would have been a disastrous home purchase. I highly recommend them.

I called last week and scheduled an inspection for Monday or Tuesday of this week. I spoke to Dan yesterday and was advised that he would let me know yesterday (Monday) afternoon what time today would work. Never received a call yesterday and three calls today went unanswered nor returned. Not someone I would want to do business with in the future.

Compared to the other two home inspections I have had in the past, this was the best by far. Super qualified and patient explaining everything to me. The report, which was emailed to me a few days later clearly showed what was wrong and was was ok. Report has pictures and puts recommendations for repair etc in bold face so you can not miss them.
