Johnson Design Associates

I am not happy with this company and I'm sorry because I usually post good reviews as a matter of helping others. I confirmed this company was paid on August 9 2021, today is November 3, 2021 and the designs for my sewer is still not submitted to the county for a permit to start construction. It's only 1 week until its been four months and I just cannot believe after being told to me the process could ultimately take up to 3 months to have the designs completed and submitted with the obvious delays but now its 4 months! I bought this house in April 2021 but cannot live in it because why again? I truly believe the previous review about dragging feet!

I received a design for a septic system. Contractor, made an error on first dig, but corrected it. Health department failed the second dig, saying it was in the wrong location. I was there when it was measured and it was in the exact location on my plans. Johnson, then added different measurements to match what the health department was saying. They were totally incorrect numbers. Finally, after a group meeting at my house with all parties, the dig site was verified as correct. Johnson design was very unprofessional during this process.

Would never hire them to do anything. I see Johnson design replied with two more lies. I have a paid credit card receipt from the fall of 2018 for Johnson design associates. I have sealed plans from Johnson design associates. As to the matter being resolved. I still have a septic system that has not been approved. My son who wants to buy the house, has had his mortgage held up until the system can be moved. What he just posted is absolute garbage.

Called three times, no call back. Then they refused to schedule a survey because they were too booked up

So far plans look good. The process takes longer than I expected. They will start on field this week.

I hired Johnson for a new septic in September after my rental property failed a septic inspection. They were very helpful in getting me a new septic system designed so I could get the property online quickly.

Johnson helped us get our septic replaced so we could sell our house. They were very helpful and answered all of our questions. Took about a week longer than anticipated, but the weather has been rough. Would definitely recommend!

3rd Generation Locally owned Engineering Office that still works on individual septic plans for a single family plan. They did exceptional work and had the best price that I could find for everything covered in house.

Very professional. Took about a week longer than they originally told me but the work was done well and they were always helpful on the phone. The best price I could find as they did our survey as well as septic plans. Would definitely recommend.

Performed in a timely manner. Afforded me plenty of time for layman's questions.

We have had a few past experiences with Johnson Design and they are always outstanding. They complete their work on time and help you with whatever your needs are. They are very trustworthy and reputable and would highly recommend them to help you with your needs. Very friendly and courteous staff too.

Stay away. This Engineer is a clown. This firm drags their feet, no one in the office knows what anyone else is doing. You will have many delays and problems here. Stay away.
