Integrating our multi-disciplinary staff's expertise and its combined 175 years of experience, IST provides innovative, cost-effective, efficient solutions to environmental issues. Since its inception, IST has strived to protect and enhance the environment and promote social development. We work with our clients to develop programs that are protective of the environment as well as human health. IST maintains cooperative relationships with US clients and has developed an international client base in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
We are proud of our safety record and make it top priority in every job. IST's 2015 safety statistics were zero OSHA reportable work-related illnesses or injuries and zero days lost time. IST has received an Award of Excellence for exceptional workplace safety from the Georgia Department of Labor. Through IST's corporate safety program, high standards of excellence are applied to all of our clients' projects, whether large or small.
IST's President, Jim Reisinger, was a member of the American Society for Testing and Materials' (ASTM's) subcommittee tasked with developing the rapid site assessment protocol that was subsequently adopted as an ASTM standard. In addition, the U.S. EPA requested advice and guidance from Mr. Reisinger when its rapid site assessment guidance document was developed.
