Our visual aids serve as full time "on-line" instructors, identifying what needs to be done to properly and safely de-energize and re-energize equipment through the use of smart graphics and tags rather than complicated instructions.
Services
This requires, in part, that a designated individual turns off and disconnects the machinery or equipment from its energy source(s) before performing service or maintenance and that the authorized employee(s) either lock or tag the energy-isolating device(s) to prevent the release of hazardous energy and take steps to verify that the energy has been isolated effectively.
Steptron Technologies develops machine specific Lockout Tagout procedures as opposed to generic Lockout Tagout procedures. This approach ensures that maintenance personnel have direct access to placards posted on the machines with step by step instructions for de-energizing the specific piece of equipment they are servicing.
The first step in developing a Lockout Tagout program for your organization is conducting a Snap Shot Survey (Facility Lockout Tagout Survey). Survey and provide (1) Final placard and tags for one piece of equipment in your facility to illustrate how the program will apply in your facility. With over 20 years of experience deploying Lockout Tagout programs, we have learned the importance of conducting a Snap Shot Survey as the first step, so there are no surprises to our clients and no need to seek additional unforeseen funding.
Once the initial survey is complete, the next step in the process is to conduct the overall Lockout Tagout Facility Deployment. During an onsite visit, Steptron Technologies Surveyors will identify and document each piece of equipment along with it's location, I.D number, and energy lockout points.

I worked for Steptron Technologies over 12 years. I had great days, good days and not so good of days, as expected with any company. However, I am forever grateful for David and all he had entrusted in me. I will always keep him and his corporation in my Prayers. Mary
