Founded in 1966, Cox Construction Company, Inc. began residential and commercial building and was originally located on South John Street in Goldsboro. In 1969, Ed Edwards joined Jim Cox and Charles Norwood to form Cox-Edwards Company, Inc. adding water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage and engineering.
We use multiple subcontractors to perform most of our work. Subcontractors are welcomed to provide quotes on masonry, foundation, framing, roofing, concrete, flooring, fixtures, and other trades for our new home and building projects. Our staff is small but it does provide a personal and hands-on approach to the client's building construction needs.
At this time, we are seeking applicants for a pipe layer/laborer position. Medical benefits are provided by Cox-Edwards. Mr Cox did our add on to our house in Goldsboro NC. He did a great job. We had no delays everything was done when he said it would be. We had no surprise cost, he charged us just what he said it would cost. He kept us up to date on everything. The build is more than we could have hoped for. We lived at that time an hour away and everytime we should up Mr Cox was at the job site staying on top of all the workers. I've worked with many contractors in the past, Mr Cox was the best one I've ever dealt with.
