Since 1990, acumen Engineering/Analysis, Inc. has served a wide range of customers in Government and Industry. Our design programs range from conventional mechanical projects, like commercial air conditioning systems, to esoteric military systems such as reverse osmosis water purification systems. Our product development efforts include a safety restraint system for child car seats, a large, multi-function military tent and a novel earth-friendly system for processing toilet waste.

Services
The company's main business area is product design, testing and engineering analysis with emphasis on thermal systems, mechanisms and human factors. Product development efforts require a variety of technical skills as well as an ability to orchestrate diverse activities to achieve a desired goal. Our experience directing multidisciplinary design teams ranges from combustion products to medical equipment. Project teams routinely include both in-house and subcontracted skills. It includes manufacturers, independent consultants and academicians.
