I work for Habasit America and have worked with Palmer Engineer company twice over the last 3-5 years. They did an assessment for installation of cantilever racking and ensure our slab was sufficient for us 4 years ago, and a structural review of a crane installation. Both Baku and Kaylee were fantastic and super responsive. They know Gwinnett county permitting very well as well as what they are looking for. Highly recommend this group!

I called Palmer Engineering to have someone come to my home and give me advice on some remodeling we want to do to the exterior. When I called To schedule the appointment, I was Told they have an hourly rate of 200 per hour and only except cash or check. So far so good. Mr Palmer arrived on time, nice guy, discussed our issues with us regarding weather or not we can do the remodeling project we want to do, structurally speaking, looked at one other issue my husband has been stressing over (a few cracks in our ceiling) and that was it.
Total time here, 30 minutes. Never put down his clip board. Never lifted a finger. We thanked him for his time, my husband walked him out and grabbed a check expecting to write it for 200.00, and he tells him it's 500.00! No one told me about a 2 hour minimum, seriously? You are going to charge us 500.00 for driving 5 minutes, standing looking at our roof for 15 minutes and walking to our basement looking at our ceiling for another 10 minutes! Beware! This was such a RIP OFF!
