Michael Mackay, President, received a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 1974 and a Juris Doctor Degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 1977. Michael is a Professional Engineer, Registered Surveyor and a member of the Ohio Bar. Michael is experienced in all facets of land development, municipal engineering, Civil Engineering Land Surveying and construction contract administration.

Michael is a construction arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and currently the City Engineer for the cities of Rocky River, Middleburg Heights and Fairview Park.

Engineering Services Report

Mackay Engineering & Surveying Company has a staff of professionals to complete any engineering project. Our staff utilizes state of the art equipment to complete projects, including AutoCAD, SurvCADD, TR-55, HydroPlus, Dodson and other computer based programs.

Surveying Services Report

Mackay Engineering & Surveying Company employs two full-time field crews. Our field crews use Total Stations and Data Collectors to collect field information. Once the field information is collected, our office staff then uses AutoCAD and SurvCADD to produce final survey drawings.

I apologize to Mr. Mackay for the previous review I left. I had a very negative experience with his HR person who apparently misinformed me about some information regarding my former fiance, who is an employee. In my disgust with her "untruths" and cruel accusations I reported some things on here that should have remained private. I cannot delete the post, so I have changed what I wrote and gave this business 5 stars because Mr. Mackay by all reports is a very honest gentleman and should not be judged based on the horrific treatment I received from his office manager/HR person (whatever her title is).
