Dryden & LaRue, Inc. (D&L) has been providing total project services to Alaska's utilities in the discipline of electrical engineering since its founding in 1977. These services range from initial system planning and studies, evaluation, engineering and design, to on-site construction. Dryden & LaRue (D&L) was originally founded in 1977 by Robert E. Dryden, P.E. and Delbert S. LaRue, P.E. as a consulting electrical engineering firm. Delbert LaRue became sole owner in 1990. D&L employs a full-time staff which includes: Electrical Engineers, Civil/Structural Engineers, Designer/Inspector, AutoCAD Technician, and Clerical Support.
Dryden & LaRue has completed utilities services throughout Alaska. Specialties include: transmission, distribution, substations, inspection services, engineering reports and studies. D&L has a statewide reputation for transmission line design and trouble shooting. Our engineering staff has direct design experience with transmission voltage from 69 kV through 345 kV.
