Power-Tech Engineers was established in 1992 by a group of former electrical utility engineers with a lifetime of experience in the planning, permitting, financing, design, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of electrical facilities and systems. During its initial years, Power-Tech Engineers concentrated mainly on the aerospace and petrochemical industries. In later years, opportunities for our firm increased in the area of utility power and water infrastructure retrofit projects.
Power- Tech Engineers is an engineering and construction firm providing services to the electric water, wastewater, oil, gas and telecom utility industry. It provides complete, multi-disciplinary engineering services as well as construction of all types of facilities and systems. Our firm has established recognition among the Southern California utilities as a major provider of engineering, project management, construction management, owner's engineer, project controls, testing & commissioning, and expert services in root-cause analysis and forensic engineering of abnormal events.
Our main approach in the development of a project is to create a partnership spirit among all the project participants, i.e., owner, engineers, contractor, suppliers, subcontractors, managers, and supervisors. It is imperative to develop good, continuous and open communication in order to establish clear policies and practices that are understood and accepted by all project participants.
Our Engineering Team consists of registered engineers throughout the nation. Our multi-disciplinary engineering team includes civil, structural, geotechnical, environmental, electrical, mechanical, and control engineers. Our senior engineers carry a lifetime experience in their area of service. Our professionals have been involved in a full range of engineering tasks from feasibility studies, conceptual/preliminary design to the preparation of detailed construction drawings for generation, transmission/ distribution, substations, telecommunication, and oil/gas industries.
