Pinnacle Structural Engineers was founded in March of 2005 by Donald Greive, P.E. and Adam Cryer, P.E. In 2006, Pinnacle added David Jones as a Senior Vice President to head up the production department. Pete Dean, P.E., was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2019 and Heath Michel, P.E. was promoted to Vice President in 2020.
Pinnacle's success and growth in the past 10 years is due largely to one factor: the enthusiasm and satisfaction of our clients. We appreciate every opportunity we have to work with a client; new or existing. When a client returns to us with a new project after the successful completion of a previous one, it reinforces our core beliefs that excellent theoretical understanding, realistic design practices, and our emphasis on outstanding customer service are exactly what our clients need.The photographs in this section are the culmination of an immersive design process with the entire project team.
Pinnacle has been designing educational buildings since the company's founding. We have experience with both public and private elementary and high schools. Locally, we have completed projects with the University of Houston and Rice University. More recently, we have completed a museum classroom expansion as well as an education hall serving a worship facility and a training center for simulated oilfield work.
Pinnacle's location in one of the top healthcare cities in the country, and our office location immediately adjacent to the Houston Medical Center has allowed for significant growth in the healthcare segment of our business. Our current work with Harris Health System, multiple buildings for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and facilities (office and clinic) for the Kelsey-Seybold Clinic has led to great relationships and experience in the healthcare sector.
