In 1972, our doors opened in Twin Falls, Idaho, with 5 employees and a dream to help assist communities in development and growth. The original office was in a small house and is now located in a technologically equipped office ready to serve YOUR needs. EHM Engineers has continued to grow and is owned and managed by five working partners and staffed by 24 full time employees.
EHM Engineers, Inc. is actively involved in planning, development, and consulting for properties in each of the communities in the Magic Valley. Our engineers, surveyors, designers, and support staff have completed subdivisions numbering in the hundreds over the past 30 years. As the design and development standards have evolved, EHM's personnel continue to deliver start to completion services for a wide variety of projects including land development, highway construction, water and wastewater facilities, and building designs.
EHM Engineers, Inc. has developed structural engineering services to include structural analysis and design for bridges, commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. With decades of experience, our structural engineers are adeptly skilled to complete your designs on time and on budget. Projects include bridge designs, residential home designs, commercial complexes, and industrial facilities.

Talked with Gary Bowlin on the phone about an addition with some questions about blueprints we needed engineered and what is needed or if they were even willing to do it. Not only was he completely rude and disrespectful with regards to questions and telling us he "can't believe we've wasted our time and money this far" and "can't believe you would think you could do an addition on that" he was completely less than willing to help in any way or explore other options or recommend a firm that could engineer them.
He was completely put out that we would even waste his time on the phone answering our questions and trying to get our business. I understand they likely have bigger fish to fry during these times than some residential engineering but that's the true test of a company and person is how the "little people" are treated during the good times and bad.
Would never recommend this company. Can't speak to any of the other engineers, might be great people, but one bad apple spoils the whole batch. Ended up going with another firm out of Idaho Falls and had absolutely zero difficulties getting our plans engineered with no changes to the original floor plan and they were happy to help us. They didn't understand why EHM said it couldn't be done. We were happy to give this other company our business. Our project is under way.
