I had the pleasure of working with DOTec when they were the Engineer of Record on a large industrial project on which I was the Construction Project Manager. The personnel with whom I dealt, up to and including the principal, were high skilled, knowledgeable and professional. They tackled every challenge with a "can do" attitude and saw to it that the structural and mechanical elements of the project were first rate, safe and conformed to standards and specifications.

DOTec did the final design and engineer stamped drawings for my shipping container house. Based on my interface with them they were responsive to my needs and did a good. I have recommended DOTec to others, and will use them again should the need arise. I've attached a few photos of the finished product:

Dr G was here within days of us contacting him. When he pulled up in his Porch we didn't think we were going to be able to afford him. (Great car btw). We just needed a updated plans for our new build. Dr G was eager to help us by offering us a price we couldn't refuse. We feel we are in great hands and can't wait to see what him and his team come up with. We know he will be there if we should need any additional help. I will have a update review.

I worked as an Engineer for this company for all of 6 weeks before leaving due to bad faith and poor management. I was blamed for losing a client whose work hadn't been touched for 2 weeks prior to my involvement. This of course was unacceptable for the client and for which I was blamed. The reason given was that I "need to pay more attention to my work".
This event comes shortly after being yelled at by Dr. Gonzalez (after working there for 3 weeks) for "taking too long" on a project that was related to the civil engineering discipline (I'm mechanical). That being said, my experience would have been tolerable and I might have stayed longer if I wasn't lied to about salary from the very beginning. I was baited by the COO shortly after applying with a phone call stating that I would be making within a certain salary range.
This was proven to be an exaggeration of about %30 once given my written offer. I have at least a dozen other instances of bad faith for which I would give this company zero stars. I would also write a longer review if I could. Do not work for this company.
