Our staffs of engineers design workable alternatives to produce timely, cost-effective results. Based in Fairfax, Virginia, we are actively involved in the evaluation, planning, and design of diverse projects.

I have worked with Sole Design Services now for close to 20 years and find them to be a very strong engineering firm with excellent customer service skills. I have personally worked with Andy Solemani over this time and find him to be open and willing to do what ever is necessary to make his projects a success. He is extremely honest and trustworthy.
I have hired them for several design/build projects to be part of my team and have nothing but positive results. I have seen their work on government and private projects and also data center, office renovations and commercial kitchen / restaurant projects. I have worked, collaborated, and consulted with Andrew and SDS Design Services and SDS Engineering for over 30 years. Andy and his team are simply the best in class. Or portfolio of projects covers commercial, retail, medical, data centers, warehousing, radio and tele productions, electronics, laboratory and offices. Large renovations and new construction. SDS I an integral team mmber with invaluable expertise in design, design management, pre design, and construction management and installation. SDS is my only choice in consultants for accurate, honest, and professional services. Andy and his team are simply the best and most experienced MEP/LS firm I've dealt with for complex and simple projects.

I have worked with Sole Design Services now for almost 18 years, on many different types of projects, including government renovation projects, office renovations, restaurants, churches, retail spaces, community buildings and multifamily apartments. Their work has always been outstanding and performed in a timely fashion. I highly recommend Sole Design Services for engineering services for any mechanical, plumbing, electrical or fire protection project.

This is a company comprised of one licensed engineer and three other persons, also doing business as SDS Engineering. I would select zero stars if it were an available option. I was hired by Andrew Solemani, the company President, as a Plumbing Designer on 5/31/2016. My first paycheck was returned by my bank because of Insufficient Funds on 6/22/2016.
This happened again when two consecutive paychecks were returned for Insufficient Funds. Mr. Solemani, assured me that although he was unable to pay me the money owed me, due to company financial problems, he would do so as soon as he was able. I continued working for the company until 8/15/2016, the date that I was due another paycheck. On that date Mr. Solemani informed me that he was unable to pay any of the wages owed me but promised that he would pay me when he received payment from company clients.
To date, I have not received any of the money owed me, unpaid wages for one hundred, ninety-two hours worked. Neither Mr. Solemani nor Mrs. Solemani, the business owner, respond to my emails or return my phone calls. If you are considering hiring this company for design services or considering employment with the company, I would highly recommend against either. In my three decades in the engineering field I have yet to come across a more deceitful and unethical group of "professionals".
