Over the years, 3D printing has known many names and technologies. When I started designing consumer products in 1998, it was standard practice to send our finished CAD files out to service bureaus like PADT Inc so that we could double-checking our parts for fit and function prior to releasing them to the molders.
Regardless how you might feel about MacOS as a daily platform, there is no denying that Apple has a long history of flipping design standards on their heads in order to advance technology as a whole. Few products represent this notion as clearly as the mechanical layout and thermal design new Mac Pro.
Most projects can be subdivided into three unique phases; with each conclusion standing as a milestone in the development process. Though some projects require unique variations of our design strategy, all can benefit from the same general approach and workflow. Because every project is different, truly understanding the problem is key to being able to find a solution.
For folks who are unfamiliar with the production world, knowing where to begin following that 'Eureka-moment' can be daunting. Luckily, that's where we can help! Many start-ups and inventors would prefer to trim the development cycle to its bare essentials in order to reduce time and costs. Bryan understood my concept from the very beginning and developed it into the exact product I had envisioned. Bryan is a fantastic engineer and helped me through some design ideas that I hadn't even thought of. He is also great with 3D renderings and animations of your products. He worked with us on many steps of our project, and has turned out good work at every turn. He also manages to keep his overhead down which translates to real world savings for his clients. I have had Brian and his company help me with two projects and my experiences with him have been nothing short of amazing. He is driven and detail orientated and exceeded my expectations at every step. Further, he is very aware of keeping costs down not only with his work but is very conscious of costs of production and looks for ways to not incur cost overruns or tooling costs. We have worked with Bryan and AZ IdeaWorks for years now on our projects. Bryan is a fantastic designer. As an engineer, I've worked in the past with a product concept that looks really great, but didn't have any engineering thought put into how it would actually function. AZ IdeaWorks combines the best of both worlds. Bryan can develop a concept that looks fantastic, while also keeping in mind the details that I will need to develop as the engineer. Makes the process so much more efficient because I know that the concepts he provides our customers will actually be achievable in the real world, not just a pretty picture.
