Roy graduated from the University of New Orleans in 1986 with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering, and he earned his P.E. Roy's philosophy in business mirrors his philosophy in life: Say what you are going to do and do what you say you will. First and foremost, tell the truth, then work tirelessly to do the right thing by one's clients, just as one would for their family.
Roy believes in treating the people that one works with like family. To him, the true definition of success is achieving one's goals, while maintaining balance in their life.

Contractor Problem
Jan 21, 2019
Be real careful if you hire Roy Carubba. We was recommended to us by an attorney to fix an on going wall cracking issue. He personally assessed the issue, promised a fix and the moon then never came back to the house. His intern did the grunt work then they issued a $10,000 report which he told us would fix the problems. Until, that is, we questioned some of his findings and the contents of the report.
Then we got some emails and texts, to be posted later, in which he said that the "movement" was now "breathing" and that was not the original scope of his work. But, if we apologized to him for commenting on his work, he would let us pay him more for additional work to come up with a fix. Oh, and he also offered to let us run the "fix" though his own construction company if we wanted.
A construction company by the way in which he had no active license for. Here's a picture of the office address on the bottom of the quote from his construction company, CEI Construction.
