Our employees are highly effective in establishing a positive and proactive working relationship with owners, architects, and general contractors. We work as a part of the construction team by responding quickly and providing meaningful solutions. Our comprehensive knowledge of project building codes and extensive experience in field construction make us keenly aware of project liabilities.
MatriScope was originally founded in 1995 and incorporated as MatriScope Engineering Laboratories, Inc. in 2003. As a wholly owned subsidiary of United Engineering Resources, Inc. (UER), MatriScope, along with Signet Testing Laboratories, is an affiliate organization who provides geotechnical engineering, construction inspection, and material testing services complete with Caltrans, DSA (LEA#138), USACE, AMRL, and CCRL accredited materials testing laboratories.MatriScope also involves itself heavily in the construction community.
MatriScope ensures that safety is a priority in our office, our testing lab, on the road, and especially the jobsite. We accomplish this by establishing a safety procedures plan, putting the plan into the hands of all employees, and getting all employees actively involved in applying and incorporating the plan into their daily activities.
What lies under your property is as important as what you build above it. At MatriScope, we have the experience and expertise to apply known natural principles to establish the geologic context in which we perform subterranean geotechnical investigations for our clients. Properly performed geotechnical engineering improves foundation designs, reduces construction delays, and aids in the assessment of environmental risks.
