The firm incorporated in 1972 under the name Emmett L. Simmons Associates, Inc. In 1979, the firm changed its name to Simmons, Rockecharlie and Prince, Inc., and moved to its next location at 8416 Glazebrook Avenue, Henrico, Virginia. Since its organization, the firm has been engaged in providing mechanical and electrical engineering services for over 4000 projects ranging in construction costs up to $75,000,000.
We are located at 10150 Staples Mill Road, Suite A, Glen Allen, VA 23060. Take interstate 295 to the Staples Mill road east exit. After 2 miles, turn right at the light on Warren Road. Then take the first left into the parking lot. We are in the first building on the far left. Take interstate 64 west to the Staples Mill road west exit, after 4 miles turn left at the light on Warren Road.

Understanding of controls systems and their application in modern buildings for the purposes of managing energy consumption. Understanding of ancillary building systems such as fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, mass notification, etc. Provide engineering design for building projects for federal, municipal, university and industrial clients.
